MITCHELL RIVER 

Located in Dobson/Devotion NC, Delayed Harvest

Located next to the historic Kapps Mill, this delayed harvest designated public trout stream has some very fun and interesting runs along with a combination of deep pools and shallow and swift water as well. There is an abundance of rainbow trout with the occasional brown and brook.

HELTON CREEK 

Located in Grassy Creek NC, Delayed Harvest

Hidden away in the banks of Ashe County NC, lies the Helton creek campground. This landscape is full of graceful bends, signature bridges, and shady holes holding up a good blend of trout species. This river is designated delayed harvest and holds a plethora of rainbow along with some Brook trout and the hidden brown trout gems.

WATAUGA RIVER 

Located in Boone/Banner Elk NC, Delayed Harvest

Found in the high country of the Appalachian Mountains, this river never fails to amaze the common angler with the pure awe-capturing scenery. In Valley Crusis park next to the old mast general store gives this river the true mountain stream vibe we as fly fishermen long for. With wide and long runs this river houses some of the most beautiful brown and brook trout that you will only find in the altitude of these High Country streams.

Stone Mountain River

Located in Roaring Gap, NC / Delayed Harvest

Located inside the beautiful Stone Mountain State Park in Roaring Gap NC. This more Freestone style stream is full of beautiful runs, scenery, and aquatic life making it a very favorable stream in the area to target healthy brook, Rainbow, and brown trout.

Stone Mountain Wild Waters

Ready for a Hike? The feeder streams that lead into Stone Mountain are nestled up these beautiful back country trails way off the beaten path. Putting you in the prime spot to search for those vibrant colors on the wild trout that we all long for. (Experienced Anglers Only)

Tucked away and secluded private trophy trout section is stocked regularly and is home to some of the largest Rainbow trout in NC. This section has lived up to its hype with clients of all ages and skill levels bringing in the fish of a lifetime. 
 
 
*There is a $50 rod fee applied to each group. This fee is added to the total listed for each trip booking. This fee is waived for groups of 3 or more. 

All Equipment is Provided.  Waders, boots, rods, reels, etc. will be provided and can be selected from the drop-down menu for your party or through Phone call, Text or Email with our Guide Service. We will also provide premium home-tied flies by our licensed guides for your personal use and to help fill up your box afterward.
